Saturday Night Pizza Dough (frozen) - $8
Ingredients: wheat flour, water, olive oil, salt, yeast
Heat oven as hot as possible (most go to 500 or 550°) preferably with a pizza stone in place, but the back of a baking sheet will also work, just needs to be in place for entire heating of oven.
Thaw dough on an oiled pan loosely covered to prevent air from drying it out-you can use a big bowl to cover it, or a clean trash bag, etc
Allow to rise about 3 - 4 hours from the freezer The dough should look pillowy & not quite twice as big as it was when it first came out of the freezer. I f it seems to be rising too fast, just pop it into the fridge until you are ready to use it - up to a few hours.
Then stretch the dough to about 12 - 13 inches, top it & bake it
I suggest putting the stretched dough onto a piece of parchment paper before topping it, this will make it easier to transfer onto the heated stone.
You can use a pizza peal to load the pizza onto the stone or improvise with the back of a cookie sheet, or even a piece of cardboard.
At 500° the pizzas usually take about 10 - 12 minutes to cook
